we will close Tuesday june 30th at 1pm (doc. appointment). we will be open July 1st from 10-5. we will be trying to clear everything out of the old store and put it in storage these days. before/after work and appointments.

by the way please do not be offended if i do not hear you when you come in the store. i have severe hearing loss on the right side because of allergies/asthma and i am trying new meds....so we will see how long they take to work.

closure & stuff

the store will be closed for a long 4th of july weekend. dave will be here and since all our plans changed drastically memorial day when he was here-a silly fire interupted everything....i am taking time to go to the mountains and recuperate. we will be closed july 2, 3, 4 and 6th. actually that fire has forever changed my life. i will be on the news tonight sunday june 14.

quickutz club will be tuesday june16th...i know this is short notice but i am trying to move forward. the club dies have arrived...yea!!!!!!!!!!! i have no tool except one i borrowed so please bring your own....6-8pm.

just a little update we do have fun things in and more to come. our new computer is up and i am entering inventory so soon it will be going. we can take cash and checks but no credit cards yet. Please come by and fill out an info card so we can get everyone back in the system!!! and your card will be entered into a drawing to say thanks! we will do the drawing on July 24th 2 months after the fire. i will be posting classes soon!!!

Please let everyone know that I will be here at High Strung Beads 316 central ave, Friday June 12 from 10am -10pm…with an hour lunch in there somewhere. Come and work on your projects….or just say hi...some new products are available and we have internet....(haven't had any in a week) bresnan guys are my heros....I even have a phone at the new location so i can finally listen to messages.

well...life continues to move slowly with roadblocks from every direction. i will NOT be able to fully open this week. we are waiting for bresnan and for orders to arrive, i still have packing and clean up at the old store...so mountains of memories & more will be at High Strung Beads soon....please check back here for updates as things change daily because there are no quaruntees in life.

life

as i drove to trade vehicles (i need the truck to move stuff) with david i thought about how lucky i am to live in places like wyoming and montana where things are slow and relaxed. we still do alot of things the old way like talking to someone when you pass them on the street even if you don't know them. wide open spaces and the only time you have to feel rushed is when you want too (like driving really fast on the open road-shsh don't tell the highway patrol.) I know for me it has been a very stressfull year and when i think i HAVE to get everything done right now rushing around i miss the opportunity to enjoy life....i get cranky and forget the joy of helping others and taking the time to listen to people who come in. the fire has made so much work and yet to understand the need to take one step at a time. no matter how much i hurry it will take time and effort to recover--mentally, physically and business. I think being with heather at high strung beads will be a comfort and will be a healing time. I love her positive outlook....thank you ! and if anyone needs chocolate comfort you have to see angie at the candy store on central...wow she gave me some of the best dark chocolate comfort i have ever had. thank you

i am working hard at cleaning out and packing up at the store Everything takes so much longer than you think it will so it will take another week.....So i will be at High Strung Beads from 12-5 next week June 8-10; June 12 10-10!!! and work clean up before and after that....please come by and say hi. we will be cropping at High Strung beads on Friday nights so stop by and say hi and work on something.

we are accepting Heather's great offer to share her space High Strung Beads. Starting Mon June 8th u may shop Mountains of Memories Scrapbooks at 316 Central Ave downtown Great Falls. i am getting the phone and internet moved down there and than we can set up the computer!!! yea! i am getting some basic supplies and card stock ordered now so Monday i can have it out! please be patient as there is still alot of paper work and things to take care of but i am working diligently.
