Hello everyone…Merry Christmas! I want to say thank you again for being so understanding about me having to leave town early because of weather and family. Just want to give you an update on all that has happened in such a short time. I got here at 12:15am Wednesday morning, got up and hit the ground running …From taking care of Emma to Christmas programs to baby Bridget’s birth to trying to spend time with the grandchildren leaving for Christmas before they left to helping with the one’s left here…it has been a busy time. Bridget and Janice have had a rough go of it so far and I am praying things will go smoother soon. I am so grateful to have been here to help my children and grandchildren (Kensie had surgery 12/16) in their time of need. I have been practicing with my new camera and hope to upload some pictures for you soon.

My daughter Janice is scheduled for induction on Dec. 17th and has asked me to come. She will get an unltasound Tuesday to make sure everything is a go. As a result I will close at 3pm Tuesday Dec 16 to go to Cheyenne for the baby and to watch Emma. Kathy will have the store open Thursday Dec. 18th from 4-9pm, Friday Dec.19th 11am-11pm for late night shopping and cropping, and Sat Dec 20th 10-4....thank you Kathy. The store will have to be closed the week of Christmas. We will re-open Dec. 27th with Kathy 10-4. I will be back and open Monday Dec 29th 9-5...

Hi everyone. The after Thanksgiving sale was great and it was fun to see everyone. Many of you met David and both him and Kathy were great help. I just wish i had more time to talk with each person. Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement. Great Falls has many! wonderful people. Our first late night for croppers and shoppers was fun. (remember the 1st and 3 Fridays).

Happy Hour Scrapbook Retreat 2008 Recap!

Oh, my, did we have a lot of fun at the MOMS Fall Retreat! :)On Friday we were Welcomed by Amy K's family helping all of us in with our "crop gear". When we got to our spots at the tables we were welcomed by a Martini glass with chocolate, a drink (and refill)ticket, a Pebbles Inc. Chalk Kit, and a We R Memory Keepers 6x6 leather album with a calendar kit inside. Food was soon brought out and Jeanie gave some gifts to those who have helped her and a Gift of Gratitude to MOMS previous/founding Owner, Jenn Wasserman.

Then it was time for games with Dan, the Quickutz Guy! He had all Retreaters play a game of Deal or No Deal for Quickutz Product. The big winner of that was Melissa Hoenisch! She won the $300 Quickutz Shopping Spree and decided to get the Quickutz Silouette. Congrats, Melissa! :)

Saturday, Retreaters were greeted with a Scrapbooker's Survival Kit! It was a mini paint can stuffed with candy, mini tape and staplers, and a Live Inspired Book. We also had a Make and Take from My Mind's Eye at our spots. Jeanie demoed some product and whatever she demoed she gave away as part of a drawing. She gave away the New Bind-It-All Corner Rounder, Fiskars Stamp Factory, some Live Inspired books and much more! :) Lunch and Dinner were served and enjoyed! We also worked on our Tag Book that was part of another make and take we were able to do! :)

Sunday, was the BIG Prize Day! :) When the ladies came in, they were greeted and got to draw a tin out of the basket and open it and see what they won. Everyone was a winner, but the BIG winner was Kathy Floen, who got the $100 MOMS Shopping Spree Grand Prize! Other Prizes were Free Admissions to the next Retreat, a class, or the Card Retreat, a half off admission to the next retreat, $25 and $50 Gift Certificates to the store, and much, much more!

From all the smiles and laughter it seems as though EVERYONE who attended was HAPPY! :) Thanks to all who helped and all who attended!:)

Sew Fun Class!

The Sew Fun Class will be on Saturday, October 25, from 9am to 11am. This class will be taught by Danielle Reier. Cost is $25. In your kit you will be getting a Bazzill In Stitch'z ABC Sewing Template. You'll make a reference tag collection and a 2 page Layout displaying your new skills.

There will be some Crazy Hours next week (Oct.13th thru Oct. 18th)! I would like to thank Barbara Cook, Amy Kingfisher, and Kathy Floen for keeping things going while I am away. The store hours for the week I am gone will be: Monday (10/13)- 9am-2pm, Tuesday (10/14)- 10am-2pm, Wednesday (10/15)-10am-2pm, Thursday (10/16)- 12noon-8pm, Friday, (10/17)10am-5pm, Saturday (10/18)10am-5pm. Regular Hours will resume the week of the 21st.

Halloween Acrylic Album Class

There will be a Halloween Acrylic Album Class on November 8th from 9am to 11am. This class will be taught by Shayla Irish. Cost is $35.

Timeless Reflections Home Decor Class

My first order of business was to get to know the product that was here (great choices Jenn)...and now I have been checking out all the new products and items...AMAZiNg and overwhelming. Although new items/products have been order they take time to get from the manufactures. Some things will start arriving next week some won't get here till October. I appreciate your patience with this. I faced the problem of having to open almost all new accounts which is time consuming and costly. Quickutz is my next one to get set up. I am not as familiar with them so all of you Quickutz fans that would like to help by pre-ordering quickuts new releases or if there is an existing die cut or silhoute product that you would like PLEASE call or come by and talk to me--you will receive a discount on items pre-ordered and paid for by September 18th.

Are you ready to take rubber and ink for a test drive? I have been obsessed with stamping for 16 years and addicting others for 4. Art has no rules and that is my approach to teaching. Rubber stamping brings so many amazing things to my life…stamps, friends, laughs, challenges, achievements, and relief. I simply want to share it with others. Feel free to make changes, mistakes, and a mess. We will break the rules and have fun with it! Bring some adhesive, a paper trimmer and be ready to laugh.

First of all, what is it?
I have created 10 samples and you have the chance to make each one for a total of $10. (Envelopes will not be provided.)
What if you don’t like a card or two?
That’s just fine. You can substitute a card for another (make 2 of 5 cards or any combination of 10 you can think of.)
What if I want to make more than 10?
You can do it. There will be 10 samples, if you don’t like one make two of another and so on. Each additional card will by only $1.00. Any leftovers will be brought out for the next month-if they don’t grow too much mold!
What if I don’t have time to make all 10 cards?
This is where a card buffet differs from your local Golden Corral. You can make up a TO-GO box for yourself (although the sample can not be ordered as take out, only the direction sheet.) Bringing a digital camera may be helpful.
What do I need to bring?
Adhesive of your choice and a paper trimmer.
How do I sign up?

If you have new or gently used scrapbooking/paper craft items that you would like to sell in exchange for MOMS store credit, you can bring them to MOMS starting today through Thursday. Please have your items clearly priced and marked with your assigned number before bringing them in. Just call to get assigned a vendor number.

During the sale, all of your items will be tallied as they sell, and you will receive store credit equivalent to the amount of your total sales. Sell those supplies you don't need or use and get store credit to buy stuff at MOMS!
