Oh, my, did we have a lot of fun at the MOMS Fall Retreat! :)On Friday we were Welcomed by Amy K's family helping all of us in with our "crop gear". When we got to our spots at the tables we were welcomed by a Martini glass with chocolate, a drink (and refill)ticket, a Pebbles Inc. Chalk Kit, and a We R Memory Keepers 6x6 leather album with a calendar kit inside. Food was soon brought out and Jeanie gave some gifts to those who have helped her and a Gift of Gratitude to MOMS previous/founding Owner, Jenn Wasserman.
Then it was time for games with Dan, the Quickutz Guy! He had all Retreaters play a game of Deal or No Deal for Quickutz Product. The big winner of that was Melissa Hoenisch! She won the $300 Quickutz Shopping Spree and decided to get the Quickutz Silouette. Congrats, Melissa! :)
Saturday, Retreaters were greeted with a Scrapbooker's Survival Kit! It was a mini paint can stuffed with candy, mini tape and staplers, and a Live Inspired Book. We also had a Make and Take from My Mind's Eye at our spots. Jeanie demoed some product and whatever she demoed she gave away as part of a drawing. She gave away the New Bind-It-All Corner Rounder, Fiskars Stamp Factory, some Live Inspired books and much more! :) Lunch and Dinner were served and enjoyed! We also worked on our Tag Book that was part of another make and take we were able to do! :)
Sunday, was the BIG Prize Day! :) When the ladies came in, they were greeted and got to draw a tin out of the basket and open it and see what they won. Everyone was a winner, but the BIG winner was Kathy Floen, who got the $100 MOMS Shopping Spree Grand Prize! Other Prizes were Free Admissions to the next Retreat, a class, or the Card Retreat, a half off admission to the next retreat, $25 and $50 Gift Certificates to the store, and much, much more!
From all the smiles and laughter it seems as though EVERYONE who attended was HAPPY! :) Thanks to all who helped and all who attended!:)
